1. Purpose

This Disclaimer defines the intended purpose, scope, and legal limitations of the TALEX platform, including the TALEX Score™, verification services, and verified reputation information. Its primary purpose is to promote the responsible use of platform information while legally protecting users, organizations, and the overarching integrity of the TALEX ecosystem.

2. Scope

This Disclaimer applies to all users and entities accessing or utilizing the TALEX platform, including but not limited to:

  • Third parties accessing TALEX information

3. Nature of the TALEX Platform

TALEX is a trust infrastructure platform explicitly designed to help users build, verify, manage, and share trusted reputation through verified information. TALEX provides verified information strictly to support and inform independent decision-making.

TALEX does not, under any circumstances, replace independent judgment, formal background checks, or professional due diligence.

4. TALEX Score™

The TALEX Score™ is a dynamic, informational indicator representing the strength of a user's or organization's verified reputation based strictly on the information available within the TALEX ecosystem at a given point in time.

The TALEX Score is explicitly not:

  • A token score
  • A financial rating
  • A legal certification
  • A guarantee of moral character
  • A prediction of future behavior
  • A guarantee of professional competence
  • A guarantee of employment suitability

For additional context regarding the evaluation model, please refer to the TALEX Score informational page.

5. Verification Services

TALEX verification services confirm the authenticity of supported information based strictly on evidence available at the specific time of review. While verification mathematically increases confidence in the provided data, it does not guarantee:

  • Future conduct
  • Future qualifications
  • Future employment
  • Future compliance
  • Future business performance
  • Future relationships

Information may organically change after verification has been completed. Certain verification types inherently expire or require periodic renewal. For full details on verification processes, see our Verification Policy.

6. Reputation Information

Reputation information accurately reflects the data currently available within the TALEX ecosystem. However, individual and organizational profiles evolve over time. Information may be updated by users, and some data may become outdated.

Users and organizations must consistently consider additional, external, and contextually relevant information when making important decisions.

7. Independent Decision-Making

Organizations remain solely and exclusively responsible for decisions regarding:

  • Hiring
  • Admissions
  • Business partnerships

TALEX provides informational data only. TALEX does not make decisions on behalf of users or organizations, nor does it advise on such decisions.

8. User Responsibilities

Users are legally and operationally responsible for:

  • Providing authentic and accurate information.
  • Updating information promptly when circumstances change.
  • Obtaining explicit authorization before submitting information relating to other individuals or organizations.
  • Using the TALEX platform responsibly.
  • Reporting any known inaccurate or fraudulent information.

9. Organization Responsibilities

  • Conducting their own independent due diligence.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Using verified information responsibly and ethically.
  • Protecting authorized administrative access to the platform.
  • Making independent organizational decisions.

10. No Guarantees

TALEX explicitly disclaims and does not guarantee:

  • Employment
  • Contracts

  • Business success
  • Financial outcomes
  • Legal compliance
  • Trustworthiness
  • Honesty
  • Future behavior
  • Any particular result from use of the platform

11. Limitation of Reliance

Users and organizations should not rely solely upon TALEX Scores, Verification status, Profile information, Reviews, Recommendations, or Reputation information.

All TALEX data should be considered comprehensively alongside other appropriate, independent information relevant to the specific decision being made.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Appoint Group and TALEX shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential decisions made by users or organizations based solely or partially on information available through the platform. Organizations remain entirely responsible for evaluating applicants, employees, members, contractors, suppliers, customers, and business partners.
